Plans and Pricing

Your access to the KemyCard API is defined by one plan for the whole API. Every new partner starts on the free Découverte plan and can move to a paid plan (Starter, Business or Premium) at any time from the partner dashboard.

“Every product” means cards (including physical cards), virtual accounts, payouts (SEPA and ACH), crypto wallets and gift cards. The three paid plans give access to the same products and have no monthly limit: they differ by their fees and by the level of support.

The /customers, /balance and /webhooks endpoints are available on every plan.

Découverte plan limits

On Découverte, three counters apply to your live operations:

Cards created: up to 25 cards per calendar month.
Amount loaded on cards: up to 5,000 USD per calendar month, counting the initial loads and the top-ups.
Payouts: up to 5,000 USD of payouts per calendar month, all customers combined, SEPA and ACH together (payout amounts, fees excluded).

The counters reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. Physical cards are not available on Découverte. When a limit is reached, the call returns 403 PLAN_LIMIT_REACHED:

`details.limit`	Meaning
`cards_per_month`	The 25 cards of the month have been created
`load_per_month`	The amount requested would exceed the 5,000 USD loaded this month — `remaining` tells you what can still be loaded

A payout that would exceed the 5,000 USD of the month returns 403 PLAN_LIMIT_REACHED with details.monthly_limit_usd and details.sent_this_month_usd (see Payouts). The same error is returned when you request a physical card on Découverte, or when you create a webhook endpoint beyond the number allowed by your plan. Calling a product that is not included in Découverte (wallets, virtual accounts, gift cards) returns 402 PLAN_UPGRADE_REQUIRED:

Billing cycles

Paid plans are billed by cycle. The longer the cycle, the larger the discount:

Prices are the same for every partner: there are no negotiated prices.

Subscribe from the dashboard

Choose a plan and a billing cycle in the partner dashboard. The price is paid from your Ops Others balance (others).

Automatic renewal

The plan renews automatically on its anniversary date and the next cycle is debited from your others balance. If this balance is insufficient at the end date, your account returns to Découverte.

Cancel at any time

After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, then your account returns to Découverte.

Upgrade (for example Starter to Business): applies immediately. The unused days of your current plan are deducted from the price of the new one.
Downgrade (for example Premium to Starter): applies at the next renewal.

Returning to Découverte

Nothing is deleted when your account returns to Découverte: your allowed IP addresses and webhook endpoints are kept. The Découverte limits apply again, and only the 2 oldest allowed IP addresses and the oldest webhook endpoint keep working.

Fees by plan

Fees are debited from your ops balances. ”—” means the product is not available on the plan.

Charged on the card itself, on every plan: $0.30 per authorization and 2.5% on cross-border transactions. GET /cards/products returns, in the fees object of each product, the fees of your plan.

The 493 ATM card

The 493 ATM card is the only card with an annual fee. It is computed per month and paid by year:

At creation you pay the creation fee and the first year. Then, on each anniversary of the card, the next year is debited from your Visa ops balance (cards_visa). The fee is billed to you, never to the cardholder. You receive a reminder email 7 days and 1 day before, and a card.annual_fee_charged webhook when the year is charged.

The annual fee is debited even if your cards_visa balance is too low, and can make it negative. A negative balance suspends your account: see Negative balance and suspension.

Payouts

The fee is charged on top of the amount and debited with it:

SEPA payout: from your Payout SEPA balance (payout_sepa). A payout is between 25 and 2,499 USD.
ACH payout to a bank account in the United States: from your Ops Others balance (others). A payout is between 100 and 2,499 USD.

On Découverte, payouts are limited to 5,000 USD per calendar month, SEPA and ACH together. See Payouts. RTP payouts (US) are not available.
