# Virtual Cards

> Countries where your cardholders can reside

Cardholders residing in **every country** are supported, subject to the identity verification (KYC) of the
cardholder, **except**:

| Country | Code |
| - | - |
| Iran | `IRN` |
| Iraq | `IRQ` |
| Libya | `LBY` |
| North Korea | `PRK` |

The country of residence is the `country` of the [customer](/api-reference/customers/create): the country where
the cardholder lives, not their nationality.
