# Wallets and Virtual Accounts

> Where the funds of your customers go, who can withdraw them, and when Virtual Accounts are available.

## Crypto wallets

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do my customers hold a balance at KemyCard?" defaultOpen>
    No. A wallet is a **collection address** for one of your customers. Each deposit is credited, net of the deposit fee, to **your** collected balance for that blockchain, and reported to you by webhook with the customer and the amount. The balance of each customer is kept in your own system. See [Crypto wallets](/guides/wallets).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which assets and networks?">
    USDC and USDT, on Solana, Base, Ethereum and Tron. The asset accepted on each network is listed in the [Crypto wallets guide](/guides/wallets).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can my customer withdraw from their wallet?">
    No. The funds belong to your collected balance. You process the request of your user in your application, then the administrator of your partner account withdraws from the dashboard, to the address of your choice. An API key cannot move funds.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What does a withdrawal cost?">
    A commission according to your plan plus a fixed network fee per blockchain, both deducted from the amount withdrawn. After these fees, a withdrawal must leave you at least \$10. `GET /wallets/balance` returns `withdrawal_commission` and `withdrawal_network_fee`.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where are the funds kept?">
    Deposits are swept to secured cold storage, and withdrawals are served from separate operating wallets. Keys are generated and kept by KemyCard, encrypted, and never returned by the API.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use my own self-custody wallets instead?">
    Yes. You can use KemyCard only for the cards, and fund your ops balances directly from your own wallets in USDC on Solana.
  </Accordion>
