# Leaving the programme

> What happens to your cards and to your balances if you stop the programme.

    They are not cancelled. Your cardholders keep using the funds loaded on their cards until their balance is exhausted. You can also terminate them yourself with [`POST /cards/{code}/terminate`](/api-reference/cards/terminate) before you leave: their remaining balance is then returned to your ops balance.

  <Accordion title="Can I withdraw what remains on my ops balances?">
    Yes. Processing takes **7 to 14 days**, because we first recover these funds from our issuing partners before transferring them to you. The fee is **1.5%** of the amount, with a minimum of **\$50**. Write to [hi@kemycard.com](mailto:hi@kemycard.com) to request it.
