# Funding and fees

> How you fund your operations, which fee applies to which operation, and who pays it.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Where are the fees listed?" defaultOpen>
    All fees are on [Plans and pricing](/getting-started/plans#fees-by-plan), by plan. For the cards, `GET /cards/products` also returns the fees of **your** plan for each product.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I fund my account?">
    You prefund **ops balances**, one per service: `cards_visa`, `cards_mastercard`, `others`, `payout_sepa` and `gift_cards`. Each has its own deposit address, requested from the dashboard. Funding is made in **USDC on the Solana network**, from any wallet or exchange. See [Ops balance](/guides/ops-balance).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is the deposit fee added or deducted?">
    Deducted from the amount you send. Example on Starter ($2 + 2.5%): you send 1,000 USDC, the fee is $2 + $25 = $27, and \$973 is credited to your balance.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why do I pay a fee on the deposit and another on the card top-up?">
    They are two distinct operations: funding your ops balance, then loading a card from it. Because of the fixed part of the deposit fee, fund your balance in batches, sized to your expected top-up volume, rather than once per top-up.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Who pays which fee?">
    | Fee | Paid from |
    | - | - |
    | Ops balance deposit | Deducted from the deposit |
    | Card creation, initial load and top-up | Your ops balance of the card network, on top of the amount |
    | Card usage (authorization, cross-border) | The card balance, that is the cardholder |
    | Card withdrawal and termination | Deducted from the amount returned to your ops balance |
    | Wallet deposit and withdrawal | Deducted from the deposit or from the withdrawal |
    | Payouts | Your `payout_sepa` (SEPA) or `others` (ACH) balance, on top of the amount |

    What you charge your own users is your decision.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there a security deposit, a reserve or a minimum volume?">
    No. You only prefund your ops balances, and those funds remain yours to spend on your operations.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I move funds between my ops balances?">
    Not at the moment: each ops balance is funded by its own USDC deposit.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if an ops balance becomes negative?">
    Your account is suspended until the negative balance is topped up: write requests return `403 ACCOUNT_SUSPENDED_NEGATIVE_BALANCE`. See [Negative balance and suspension](/guides/ops-balance#negative-balance-and-suspension).
