# Eligibility

> Who can become a KemyCard API partner, how to apply and what you need to start.

  <Accordion title="Do I need a registered company?" defaultOpen>
    No. The partner programme has two tracks, which give access to the same API and the same products. You choose on the first step of the registration form:

    * **Individual / Freelancer**: you register under your own name, with your identity verification and your proof of address.
    * **Company**: you register under the name of your company, and its documents are requested in addition.

  <Accordion title="Can a team share one partner account?">
    The partner account is always opened in the name of an identified natural person, who is accountable for the programme, its API keys and its end users. One member of the team applies and is responsible for the account. A team cannot hold an account anonymously or collectively.

  <Accordion title="Which countries can my customers live in?">
    Every country except **Libya, Iran, North Korea and Iraq**.

  <Accordion title="How do I apply?">
    1. Submit the form at [kemycard.com/en/api](https://kemycard.com/en/api#enroll). Enter the address of your website, even if it is not live yet.
    2. Once you have applied, write to [hi@kemycard.com](mailto:hi@kemycard.com) so that your application is reviewed.
    3. You receive a personal registration link to complete your onboarding and your identity verification.
    4. Once your account is approved, you get your API keys and access to the [partner dashboard](https://kemycard.com/en/api/partner/login).

  <Accordion title="Is there a free plan?">
    Yes. Every partner starts on the free **Découverte** plan, with virtual cards and payouts and monthly limits. The paid plans (Starter, Business, Premium) give access to every product without monthly limits. See [Plans and pricing](/getting-started/plans).

  <Accordion title="Can I negotiate the prices?">
    No. Our prices are the same for every partner. The only reductions are the billing cycle discounts of the paid plans: 5% quarterly, 10% semi-annual and 20% annual. See [Plans and pricing](/getting-started/plans).

  <Accordion title="Can I test before going live?">
    Yes. Test keys (`sk_test_`) return simulated data, without any charge and without limit, on every plan. See [Test mode](/getting-started/test-mode).

  <Accordion title="Why are my API requests refused with my new keys?">
    Your API keys only work from the IP addresses you have declared in the dashboard, in test and in live mode. While the list is empty, every request is refused. See [API keys](/getting-started/api-keys#allowed-ip-addresses).
